44: Tuesday

Colic at 16 months??? This is the only face Mitchell made today. You can imagine what it sounded like.Oh, look at Mr. Pink Bib now. That's right, he asked me to put that pink bib on him. He brings it to me and whines until it is around his neck. He is perfectly content sitting there and watching Elf On A Shelf. 16 months and already addicted to TV - we are in trouble!

43: Monday

Maya's creative side.

No pictures this weekend. Here's what Mitchell looked like on 12/11/10:

37: December 6 on 6

My cutie pie at 16 months.
He sat through an entire episode of a Rudolph movie tonight. This is him "shaking" when he realizes there is a "bad" character in the movie.
Monthly pictures are nearly impossible to capture. He gets so angry at us trying to make him hold still!

His new favorite thing to do is turn lights off. He tries to get me to let him do it every time we leave a room.

36: Bye-Bye Boxes

I took all the boxes away from around the tree. They were making it too hard to enjoy the tree. Mitchell went right for the ornaments, but we just took down all that were within his reach. A tree without ornaments on the lower half is better than a tree surrounded by boxes.

35: Maya's Wedding

After dinner tonight Maya would not stop talking about "marrying Daddy." She waited patiently while he did some work in the office and kept telling me about their upcoming wedding. When it was time, they walked down the aisle and shared a first dance together.

And here's Mol, he got to be a guest at the wedding. He finally showed up today.

33: Oatmeal Eater

Mitchell prefers to eat his oatmeal with his hands.
So happy I let him have the bowl and do it himself.
It's been a while since I posted a video.

32: Today, Really.

Ok, so I'm all caught up now. I had to fill in quite a few in the past week. I thought it would be nice to put pictures of Winnie since she is always on our minds. It's been hard to find the motivation to keep this up lately with everything going on right now. I'm really going to try.

Tonight's pictures show our cabinets and tree. I'm excited about the ribbon I put on my cabinets to display Christmas cards. I'm ready for all those cards now. They won't just sit in a pile on top of the counter!
I'm not excited about the tree set-up right now. This is really what our living room looks like. All those bins are not just clutter, they are serving a purpose. The green ones keep Mitchell away from the TV and keep him from pushing buttons. The ones around the tree keep him from picking every single ornament within his reach off the tree. It keeps him away, but I hate how it looks.
